Palestinians have not been able to unite into a nation that can help its citizens be happy and productive. Creation of a nation of shared values and dreams is impossible as long as people of goodwill reward violent terrorists and gangsters who justify their actions, based upon what they can destroy, not by how they can help build a prosperous Palestinian nation. Sympathy for the plight of Palestinian children should be felt by all people of goodwill everywhere in the world. But, people of goodwill become enablers when they refuse to acknowledge that Palestinian adults who don't control their irrational anger must get down to work to help relieve the plight of Palestinian children. -Mark Wisan
Official Palestinian Authority policy provides monthly payments for convicted terrorists held in Israeli jails. The longer the sentence, the more the terrorist’s family receives. In early 2015 a New York jury saw the above document in a civil trial brought by American victims of terrorist attacks in Israel between 2002 and 2004. The attacks were carried out by branches of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) and the Palestinian Authority (PA). The PA claims that this law does not encourage attacks against civilians, but merely provides generous financial assistance to all Palestinians who have been convicted in Israeli courts.
